Can't open a PDF? Open it here.
Some PDFs from tax offices, immigration departments and government agencies use an old Adobe form format called XFA. Chrome, Edge, Safari, Mac Preview and phone apps can't display it, so you get a blank page or a “Please wait…” message. Drop the file below to read it, then save it as a normal PDF that opens anywhere.
- Processed on your device. Our code doesn't upload it
- Works offline once loaded, so try airplane mode
- No cookies, no tracking scripts. How we handle it
Why your PDF won't open
The file isn't broken. It's a dynamic XFA form, a format Adobe introduced in the 2000s and has since deprecated. Only Adobe Acrobat and Adobe Reader on a desktop computer fully support it, so most browsers and phones show a placeholder page instead of the document.
This tool reads the form directly in your browser and lays it out as normal pages. You can then print it or choose “Save as PDF” to get a standard PDF you can open, share, or attach anywhere.

Questions
Is my file uploaded anywhere?
No. Your file is processed by code running in your own browser, and our code doesn't upload it. The converter runs on a separate website with a restrictive security policy that limits its network access. You can try it yourself: load the page, turn on airplane mode, then open your file. It still works. Our security page explains exactly what is and isn't recorded.
Why does my PDF say “Please wait… If this message is not eventually replaced…”?
That message is a placeholder built into XFA forms. A viewer that understands XFA replaces it with the real form, and one that doesn't just shows the placeholder. This tool understands XFA.
How do I get a normal PDF?
After the document opens, click “Save as PDF / Print” and pick “Save as PDF” as the printer. The result is a standard PDF that opens on any device.
Is it free?
Yes. There's no sign-up and no limit on the number of files.
